If you want to read a little more about my recent trip to England, you should go here. That’s Mindy’s blog entry about what we got up to during my way too short stay. The pictures link back to my photos, so if you’ve already seen them, you needn’t bother. You might spend a little time wandering around in her blog, she’s got some pretty funny things to say about living in England – :the 12 days of Crispmas” comes to mind. Enjoy.
As for what’s happening right here, I’m busy busy busy with freelance work (dull to b;og about but great to be doing). I’m living the dream of being up at daybreak and working away in my pyjamas while looking out the window at the snow falling.
J is coming home for a mid-day break and we’re going to go for a short ski. See, his employer allows a certain number of hours every week for “sport.” This means he can go to the gym, go for a run, go XC skiing, all on the clock. You gotta love that as an employee benefit! There are some sports that aren’t allowed under “sport”, anything that seems kind of risky like rock climbing or, I think, mountain biking, but your general fitness activities are a-okay. I’m making an early lunch before we get out under the disappointingly gray sky.
Then it will be back to work for both of us.
