Things I learned:
- A sound check is a good thing.
- It helps to be near the percussion.
- Changing key on the fly is easy in principal, but much, much harder when you are live on stage.
- If you go to your supermarket wearing a slightly small cowboy hat with a red plastic Sherriff star stapled to it, no one will say a damn thing. You won’t even get a slightly ironic “Nice hat!”
I ain’t gonna say nuthin’ about how we sounded, but we LOOKED good.
Hey Pam,
It was awesome attending folklife and watching you perform! I’d never seen a ukelele show before! Good job!

PS. Nice hat!
Waiting for J to get home from a rehearsal, I just flipped on “Charlie Rose”…who’s not there, but his guest host is interviewing Bob Altman and Garrison Keillor about the upcoming “Prairie Home Companion” film…somehow it seemed an appropriate background for viewing your slideshow… 🙂
Omigawd that’s you, second one from the left. Yee haw!
Hi Pam,
I thought the folk life festival was alot of fun! It was my first ukelele concert and I enjoyed it. 🙂
