Fans of low tide will want to know that the next one is on Saturday the 16th around noon. Low tide at Lincoln Park offers more sea critters than low tide at Alki, though the human critters at Alki are compelling, especially if the weather is good.
If you don’t want to attend the Solstice Parade but are looking for something seasonal to do, what’s more seasonal than a solstice low tide? It’s all the way out at 12:25.

Actually the absolute lowest upcoming tide — the lowest of the “summer” (never mind that it’s not quite officially summer yet) — is this Friday, 11:39 am, a minus 3.8. The Saturday tide at minus 3.5 will still be quite impressive, as will minus 3.6 on Thursday morning. So much to see, when it rolls out that far!
