@marina: Just FYI, that’s just some random kid at the beach. I’m blissfully 100% kid free. But hopefully it’s obvious that I can see the charm in yours, should you have them. No pressure. 🙂
That’s a beautiful shot. Very rich. And it’s really captured a real moment there. I used to love looking for crabs under rocks. I still kind of like it but my son has never been too interested in it. For the most part HE thinks it’s gross and doesn’t want to get his hands slimy, if you can believe it.
@Dominique et all: There was a LOT to see out there — there are sea cucumbers and anemones and giant starfish and I even saw an octopus. So I’m not surprised to have caught this little guy turning over rocks, it’s how you find the critters.
My first reaction is Yuck. But I guess kids don’t respond that way, do they?
That looks like a picture from the movie the Water Dragon. Great movie by the way, your son will love it:)

Really nice shot, I like the balance of green and red, the gooey nature of the rock and the natural inquisitiveness of the child.

Hope he found something cool!!!
Beautiful. That’s how I spent my summer weekends when I was a kid.

Love this shot…all the green and a shot of red in the kid’s shirt. I’m really curious about what he finds so interesting under that rock! 🙂
