I’m not here at Nerd’s Eye View much, but know that it’s not because I’m not writing. When I can recover a bit of my time from my current day job as a content strategist/user experience flunky/technical writer/copy editor, I’m polishing travel stories for:
- Practical Travel Gear: Gear reviews, once a week.
- Gadling: I’m new there!
- The Traveler’s Way: Portlandia, oh Portlandia.
- The Sounder : Not yet published, but I’m looking forward to working with them again, they have a great editor.
- TravelWild: I’ve slowed down a little, but I’m still writing about Antarctica.
I’m also prepping to co-teach a narrative travel writing workshop at TBEX, The TravelBlog Exchange. My partners in that undertaking are absolute stars, Andrew Evans and Don George. (I might be wondering, every day, how I rated sitting at the table with those guys.) It should be great, Don is amazing and Andrew is a marvel. If you’re at TBEX, come to the workshop for those guys.

You’re at Gadling too, along with the Eva?
My heart, it warms.
Love, LOVE all the blues in that photo, Pam.
That’s a great photo!
I like being able to peer through the Nerd’s Eye on a regular basis.
Glad to here your are off the streets and keeping busy. Going to take a look at some of those links now. Well wishes from far away.
Congrats on all the new gigs Pam! And I agree with Eva, loving the blues in the shot.
