Interview with Chris Hadfield

They fix the camera angle so don’t fret — that clipped angle at the beginning is fine a few minutes in — be patient. And here is my interview, the whole thing, with what one audience member calls the “Best Astronaut Ever.” It’s long, but it’s Chris Hadfield, so it — forgive me — flies by.

Too long, didn’t watch? The book is longer, but it’s a fast read. Get it here: An Astronaut’s Guide to Life on Earth.

  1. Pam, what a wonderful inspiring person and excellent interview. The fact you were able to meet your real life hero must count as one of the highlights of your year. I gulped when I saw how long the interview was, and then went into the kitchen and made a new pot of tea and sat down and watched it all. It was not long enough!

    • Yeah, I know it’s long, so thanks for sitting through it. And it was so exciting to get to meet the Hadfield’s — I met Helene too, and she was delightful. They were so indulgent and made me feel slightly less dorky, and oh, it was just a great thing to get to do.
